Drum Kitchen Berlin

is a unique percussion band, which takes the rhythms and melodies from around the globe to the roads and stages. 10 - 70 drummers make the world go round and cook their hot soup for the audience. Grooves from all continents and cultures are on the rhythm menu: Jamaican ska mixed with belly dance, funk garnished with Bollywood pulling the audience into a stream of tango, Cuban tunes, African waltzes and Balkan rhythms ...

Drum Kitchen Berlin
founded in 2007 by uniting several berlin percussion bands has developed branches in several cities across the country. The cooks' wild drum playing thrills the audience at festivals and street fairs, sporting events, outdoors and in crowded halls. The band is highly mobile and full of infectious energy and enthusiasm.

Christoph Renner
the musical leader is a musician, drummer and rhythm teacher. For 16 years he has taught percussion at the Landesmusikakademie Berlin and many other institutions and is head of Berlin's percussion school groove which he founded 14 years ago. He conducts seminars for companies and educational institutions of all kinds, children's concerts and he especially loves cross-genre projects. As a percussionist and musician, he is traveling throughout the World.
